After a four stand out years of D1 hockey at  Michigan State University, Shawn pursued a career as a professional hockey player. After 15 years of receiving many honors and awards with various teams, Shawn’s ascension to the NHL as a member of the Calgary Flames is most notable.  After retiring from hockey, Shawn joined Beacon Energy Solutions as a Business Development Manager and in his five-year tenure there, he rose to the position of Regional Manager New England. He then took the NE Regional Manager position with Constellation New Energy.  Shawn started Powerplay Energy Group in January 2017 and has worked exclusively in the deregulated energy field since 2009.
